last week the times ran an article in the style section that discussed the current reemergence of 1950's & 60's dresses (sheaths & full skirts) attempting to explain it as a cry for the steadiness & hope that was blossoming at that time, our need for stability in some way now in the current chaos of alleged economic crisis and very not JFK president. the best part: calling the look "fashion comfort food". that's my style all wrapped up in three little words. so the next two days themes were heavily influenced by this. first came blueberry pie. mashed potatoes & corn on the cob followed.
